Sunseray Morson

Sunseray is set to graduate May 2024 with a BFA in acting from Academy Art University. She is originally from the south side of Chicago, Illinois, and has had a deep awe and love for film and television since she was first introduced to it as a young child. At the age of 17, Sunseray joined the United States Marine Corps, and after her 8 and a half honorable years, she is now a Marine Corps veteran who is following her dreams in acting, modeling, stunts, and filmmaking in the entertainment industry.
Sunseray’s passion also expands to producing and creating her own films, one of which she won 3 awards for in the 2021 NXTUP Festival for her short film My Time is Now. Last year for the 2023 NXTUP Festival, she won best actress in a comedy for the scene Twenties. This year for the 2024 NXTUP Festival, she is nominated for best actress in a drama for her portrayal as Laila Ali. While Sunseray’s career is only starting to scratch the surface, she has her sights set to become a widely successful entertainer/filmmaker while having a ball doing it all!
