My MFA thesis work explores the intersection of nostalgia, togetherness, and play through familiar board game imagery. By featuring iconic games like Monopoly, Clue, and Mousetrap, I aim to evoke fond memories of shared experiences and the joy of playful competition. These images serve as a visual narrative of our collective past, inviting viewers to reflect on the simplicity and camaraderie found in these timeless games. Through my artwork, I seek to capture the essence of connection and the universal appeal of childhood play, inviting viewers to reconnect with their sense of nostalgia and the joy of being together.
