Hongli Zhao

My name is Hongli Zhao, an Academy of Art University graduate student in Interior Architecture and Design major. I have a bachelor's degree in environmental art design from Xi'an University of Architecture and Technology and have been an interior designer in China. After years of being a stay-at-home mom, I decided to go back to school to connect my past and future as a designer, since the interior design is always my passion. I obsess over the thought process of projects, from nothing to everything, from disorder to order, and every sparkling moment of thrills or struggles in design. As an interior designer, I am committed to embracing and advancing the professional trend of positively impacting health and well-being through my designs. I believe that the spaces we inhabit have a profound impact on our mental and physical health, and I want to contribute to creating environments that promote wellness and enhance the quality of life for people, to make a difference in my anticipated area of design practice.
