Jewelry & Metal Arts
I am a California based artist specializing in fashion styling with a new skill of making jewelry. Although my first passion is fashion, I have fallen in love with metalsmithing.
Since I come from the fashion world I brought that knowledge with me to make jewelry. The first piece I made as a jewelry student was inspired by the 2013 Met Gala with the theme of PUNK: From chaos to couture
The designer I admire most is Lee Alexander McQueen. I resonate with his ideas. He uses a lot of imagery of death. I am fascinated with the idea of death and where my body will go after I die. Beneath every human is a skeleton, and that has informed a lot of my jewelry design.
